Quantum Physics
About the Course
Does it inspire you to know how everything in the world is moving? Does it inspire you to study waves and particles? Does it interest you to learn the ways in which Albert Einstein discovered and progressed in studying physics and quantum?
If Yes, This career is a no brainer for you. You should surely go for this option.
About the Field
Quantum physics is the study of matter and energy at its most fundamental level. A central tenet of quantum physics is that energy comes in indivisible packets called quanta. Quanta behave very differently to macroscopic matter: particles can behave like waves, and waves behave as though they are particles. Quantum mechanics is a science dealing with the behaviour of matter and light on the atomic and subatomic scale. It attempts to describe and account for the properties of molecules and atoms and their constituents—electrons, protons, neutrons, and other more esoteric particles such as quarks and gluons. These properties include the interactions of the particles with one another and with electromagnetic radiation (i.e., light, X-rays, and gamma rays).
